Project description
In this practical research, hand-stamped clay bricks were produced with lichens as additives and bricked together with industrially produced clay bricks.
It is being investigated whether clay and lichens are harmonized with each other and can support each other. This is intended to increase the stability and weather resistance of the stones.
At the same time, it is to be examined whether the clay can serve as a habitat for the lichens, whether they can continue to grow and thus create a new visual structure for green masonry.
