Project description
This project explores the architectural fragments that persist after complete places can no longer be remembered. Emerging from repeated experiences of temporary inhabitation across different countries, the work investigates how memories survive through fragments, atmospheres, and sensory impressions rather than as complete images.
Through wood engraving, printmaking, collage, and experimental animation, windows, staircases, corridors, and rooms are detached from their original contexts and reassembled into shifting spatial constellations. Interior and exterior spaces overlap, dissolve, and transform, following the associative logic of memory rather than the logic of architecture.
The resulting animation creates an unstable environment in which fragments of different places coexist, reflecting a condition where home is no longer a fixed location but something carried through memory, movement, and experience.
