Open live studio M18 (Freifläche 1) + installations + performances + KummaKasten

Something’s in the air! FLURFUNK explores the politics of the »corridors« and radio as a medium of resistance and connection. A diverse range of voices from both within and outside the university will be heard—broadcasting on 106.6 MHz via bauhaus.fm and through radio installations throughout the university buildings. At the heart of the project is a open-access studio in the courtyard of M18. The programme features DJ sets, themed broadcasts, conversations with guests, and performative interventions.

FLURFUNK investigates radio at the intersection of control and collective empowerment. Drawing on historical and contemporary examples, the project dedicates itself to alternative and experimental forms of broadcasting. Topics include more-than-human communication, radio in war and peace, pirate radio, and sonic feminism—ultimately questioning what media we will need in the future.

ALLEZUSUMMAERY is an attempt to foreground what connects us—the diversity and differences that transform Bauhaus-Universität into a vibrant social ecosystem where people from the core and the periphery come together.

At the KUMMAKASTEN, individuals can express their concerns, wishes, and critiques via an online form or by speaking directly into a microphone at the installation site. The contributions will be anonymised and discussed with students and staff of Bauhaus-Universität.
