Project description
The kiosk is a place in between—open, accessible, and right in the midst of everyday life. It is where needs converge, conversations take place, and brief moments of community emerge. A kiosk is never just a place of sale, but always a social gathering spot as well.
This is exactly how PORT Magazine sees itself this year. PORT 2026 becomes the kiosk of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar—a place where the faculties come together as a neighborhood. Students from different disciplines meet here, sharing projects, thoughts, and perspectives. The goal is to make connections visible and create spaces for exchange.
(PORT is the student-run magazine of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Since 2007, it has brought together projects from all faculties and is designed and produced each year by a new team.)
