Project description
Shared activities that rely on synchronized interpersonal interaction, such as dancing, singing, or movement-based games, can evoke feelings of togetherness and strengthen social bonds. Transferring these effects into social virtual reality opens up new possibilities for fostering a sense of connectedness between family members or friends who live far apart.
In this project, students explored different prototyping and development approaches to design interaction techniques that facilitate the synchronization of movement in virtual reality. At the Open Lab Night, we will present initial approaches and invite the audience to try them in virtual reality.
