Project description
How can the perception of nature be connected with AI-based image production? The works shown here document a multi-step process: it began with verbal prompts – such as “A red chair on a summer meadow” – which were translated into visual compositions using found materials in a forest setting. These ephemeral collages were photographed, further processed with AI tools, and finally reinterpreted into text using machine vision. The resulting image series exemplify the intricate interplay between “natural” and “artificial” materials and techniques.
The works were developed as part of the project module “Artificial – Naturally”, which explores the relationship between natural environments and generative artificial intelligence through artistic and experimental means.
