Project description

Why do we suddenly start talking about this? In the middle of a heated discussion, thoughts get all jumbled — then, out of nowhere, everything focuses on just one argument. But why that one? Who even brought it up? And more importantly: how should you respond to it? For moments like these, there’s Args.me — the interactive argument search engine. It helps you keep track of the flow of a discussion, understand the other person’s perspective better, and have the right argument ready when it counts. To do this, we combine principles of dialectical logic with the capabilities of modern language models. Visitors can test their argumentation skills live — by engaging in a conversation with an AI discussion partner that analyzes their arguments in real time and follows the discussion according to the rules of dialectical logic.
