Project description
Illumulus is a student project that combines artificial intelligence and storytelling in an innovative way. The installation creates short stories based on user input, supplements them with suitable illustrations and then prints them out to take away. Illumulus was first exhibited at the Leipzig Book Fair 2024 and has since been further developed as part of student projects and theses.
This semester, the focus was particularly on the interaction between different AI agents, which take on specific subtasks: one agent develops the plot, another designs the characters, others take care of the scenery, the linguistic fine-tuning or the visual implementation of the scenes. Special agents are also responsible for evaluating and revising the generated texts.
