Project description
In the last semester we dealt with the public space. We asked ourselves what significance the built space still have today, given the omnipresence of the digital media in everyday live. Within the Juri Gagarin Ring in Erfurt, we have scrutinised in detail the
possibilities of architecture. The question remained: Can the design of the built environment in architecture and urban planning still manage to find a common basis of understanding today in order to define a common space as a space for everyone?
