Project description

AI Prophéties shows creative productions of literary texts that were written together with the "Futuring Machine".

The "Futuring Machine" is a participatory writing tool, developed as part of the research project »Futuring Machines. Practice-based exploration of AI as algorithmic irritation in the context of participatory futures« of the Fellowship Research Workshop of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The aim of the interdisciplinary project between art and design, computer science and human-computer interaction is to create a tool for imagining and reflecting on futures through short stories.

The objects exhibited in the context of AI Prophéties are based on texts created in collaborative writing processes between human and machine authors.

As part of the Open Lab Night of the Faculty of Media (Friday, 12 July, 5-10 pm) individual texts will be presented in a lecture. You can also write your own short stories with the Futuring Machine! (Friday, 12 July, from 5 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, 13 July, noon to 3 p.m.)
