Project description

The FREE_IT project makes augmented reality (AR) monuments tangible for the Summaery. In the foyer of the main building, you will find a map showing where the AR monuments designed by the students are located. You can use this map to explore the campus and Weimar and view the AR monuments at the marked locations using a QR code on your cell phone.
The project combines history and the history of science with media studies and media informatics, as well as artistic research and different public spheres.
The project "FREE_IT - AR Monuments for Diversity in Weimar" is supported by the "Strengthening Democracy" fund.
