Project description

The walkable sculpture An Introspective Monument (A:I:M) has been on view since July 2022 in a studio building at the Bauhaus-University Weimar. I am trying to create a space here where it‘s possible to depart from classical concepts of attributions and classifications. I‘ve invited artist friends to develop their own site-specific worksin this space. The installation is open to cross-media artistic impulses and is constantly revitalized by so-called „openings“. The artistic structure becomes part of a process, and I see it as a spatial instrument with which we, the actors, interact. In this spirit, "A:I:M Sessions" introduces another collaborative format where various artistic positions are invited to animate the space with their sound compositions and audio performances.
