Project description
Fully autonomous driving has not yet been technically realized, but the first Weimar cab of the future is already catapulting the audience right into the middle of the digital transformation. In this interactive theater piece, passengers communicate with a simulated "artificial intelligence" that controls the ride.
During the 50-minute tour through Weimar, the "Soulmachine" repeatedly raises questions that critically examine the relationship between man and machine: Which evasive maneuvers have which consequences? For whom does the car brake, for whom not? And what happens in the event of a crash? Director and performer Lajos Talamonti takes the audience on a journey that is not always straightforward or predictable.

As places in the Future Taxi are limited to five people per trip, please register online in advance. The tour starts and ends at the Frei-Luftgalerie next to the main building of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar (Geschwister-Scholl-Straße / Bauhausstraße)
