Project description
How can I, as an illustrator, participate in the democratic chaos? What contribution can I make using only my pen to support democratic processes and advocate for the right values? Nine students in the "Stift und Drang" module asked themselves these questions and, in the spirit of democratic decision-making, found solutions together.
The result is a comic zine full of surprises, a handcrafted booklet with drawn instructions and paths to one utopia or another. The stories and drawing styles within are as diverse as the students themselves, but always infused with the necessary touch of hope to keep going and empower others.
The zine celebrates its release at the "Democrazy" exhibition in the Atrium Weimar, where original drawings, Riso prints, and posters will also be displayed.
