Project description
The ProTELC Science Camp OPTI+ took place in March 2023. Addressing Bachelor students from different Allianz THÜR ING partner institutions, the event was organized by EAH Jena in close cooperation with Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Participants learned the foundations of python programing, optimization and 3D printing and applied their knowledge to design and program a robot which aim was to solve an optimization problem.
Examples of how to implement optimization algorithms for the exploration of unknown areas is shown by showing the functionality of the Science Camp results over a physical landscape.
