Project description
Our democracy is a valuable asset and elections are a central element of this democracy. Fewer and fewer people are taking part, even though they would like to have a greater say. In the "DEMOCRAZY?" project, we have shed light on democratic processes – with the specific aim of increasing voter turnout in Thuringia and strengthening the appreciation of the electoral process. For this project, the professorships of Image-Text-Conception and Cross-media Moving Image have joined forces to develop films and campaign formats for the Thuringian State Centre for Political Education, which call for democratic participation in the run-up to the federal elections on 1 September.
