Project description
As a Bauhaus.Modul, "a garden summer" encourages you to explore the concept of the allotment garden. In the module, we looked at historical, sociological and practical issues relating to allotment gardens. Workshop formats and guest lectures offered an insight into the topic "garden" and different ways of dealing with communal gardens. The current use, approach and significance of allotment gardens is illustrated using the example of an allotment garden in Weimar, which offers the opportunity to develop and try out ideas in practice on site.
Our results will be recorded, presented and shared in an exhibition in the allotment garden itself.
