Bauhaus.Podcast No. 9: What remains of the anniversary?
»100 years of Bauhaus« – the anniversary is now over! There was something to look at, listen to or read about »the Bauhaus« almost every day – be it a historical reference or a contemporary interpretation. But what will remain of the anniversary at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar?
We spoke with the university’s President Prof. Dr. Winfried Speitkamp, Bauhaus.Module coordinator Britta Trostorff and the students Franziska Felger, Maximilian Theye and Gabriel Dörner, who seized the opportunity to get more involved and organised courses for their fellow students.
We also accompanied Samuel Solazzo and Jannis Uffrecht during setup of their photo exhibition in the Main Building: They documented the anniversary activities for a year and a half in an artistic photo project, creating a striking, independent visual portrait of the university.
