Winterwerkschau and go4spring: students present their work at the end of the semester

On two following weekends in February, students of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will give an insight into their work from this winter semester: From 4 to 6 February 2022, the student-organised »Winterwerkschau« will present projects from various disciplines. From 10 February 2022, the semester results from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism will be on display as part of the »go4spring«. Due to the pandemic, the students are largely using online formats to present their work.

Initiated and independently organised by the students of the Faculty of Art and Design, this year's »Winterwerkschau« will take place from Friday, 4 February 2022, to Sunday, 6 February 2022. For the first time, the format has been opened not only to the three other faculties of the university, but also to projects from the University of Music FRANZ LISZT Weimar. Currently planned is an online exhibition of all submitted projects and works. On the opening afternoon, an open-air event with livestream formats is also planned on the campus of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, to which both members of the university and guests are invited. This is to take place on Friday, 4 January 2022, in compliance with strict hygienic regulations such as 2G+ as well as the then currently applicable Corona Ordinance.

The »go4spring« of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism is already taking place for the seventh time. Analogous to the cross-university annual exhibition »summaery« in the summer, it offers students and Professorships at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism the opportunity to present the results from projects and seminars to a broad audience from Thursday, 10 February 2022, in the winter semester. After the online premiere last year, the architectural designs, urban planning plans and research projects will also be shown in digital format on a dedicated web platform in 2022.

Further information on the programme of both exhibition formats as well as the online access options will follow shortly.
