Find out about Master's degree programmes: »In.Sight Master« is taking place for the second time at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar
From 13 to 17 May 2019 Bachelor degree graduates and students from all universities have the opportunity to learn about the Master’s degree programmes available at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar within the scope of the »In.Sight Master« programme. In unique formats taking place across Thuringia, anyone interested in the programme can visit courses from various degree programmes in order to try out what it is like to study at the university in Weimar. Online registration is now open and free of charge.
Graduates from Bachelor programmes are often faced with a vast array of choices when choosing a postgraduate course of study. The ideal situation would be if it was possible to try out prospective new study programmes - and this is exactly what graduates with a Bachelor’s degree have the opportunity to do from 13 to 17 May 2019 as part of the »In.Sight Master« taster at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Regular lectures and seminars are opened up to prospective students so that they can learn about the content and academic methods as well as the specific degree programme and campus life of the university. This year, for the first time, online webinars will also be used.
»After being able to welcome numerous participants from across Germany at our university in Weimar last year, this year we would also like to enable prospective students who can’t physically attend to learn about what it’s like to study at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. This is why we will also be offering webinars for selected Master’s programmes which have an international focus in addition to the on-campus opportunities«, explains Juliane Seeber, project lead in the Office of Student and Academic Affairs. »In addition to lectures, seminars and webinars, there is also the opportunity to gain course guidance or talk to Bauhaus.Botschafter.«
The broad range of topics covered during the taster week extends across the Faculties Architecture and Urbanism, Civil Engineering and Media: Visitors can attend a total of 33 courses from 18 Master’s degree programmes including, for example, courses on the topic of »drinking water purification«, »advanced HCI« and »management of digital transformation«.
