Catering tent to open on Marienstraße on 20 January 2019

»Green Configuration« – DFG project on energy-saving computer usage

A team of researchers from the Faculty of Media’s Professorship for Intelligent Software Systems is investigating the energy consumption of IT systems. The project aims to optimise the configuration of office computers and thus reduce their energy consumption. The researchers are currently seeking test persons at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar to conduct a study in January 2020.

Mit Abschluss der Baumaßnahmen an der Freifläche am Westgiebel des Hauptgebäudes der Bauhaus-Universität Weimar sind an diesem prominenten Standort künftig temporäre künstlerisch-architektonische Interventionen möglich. Den Anfang hat im Jubiläumsjahr 2019 der Gropiuszimmer-Pavillon gemacht.

Five sustainable ideas for the campus and city (19.12.)
The student-run »Bauhaus.Mobil« course was launched for the first time as part of the Bauhaus.Semester with the aim of working together to conceive and create the mobility of the future. This successful project will be continued in the winter semester 2019/20 under the direction of Philipp Kohl and Wiebke Mros. The two students presented the first project results at 5 pm on Monday, 16 December 2019 in Lecture Hall D.
