Winner of the jury prize in the category „Best Poster“ is the Brazilian Leonard Hermel, a Master student in Media Art & Design. Although his project »Human Devices – Analog Social Experiment« is still in its infancy, it was presented and explained creatively. With a very concisely designed poster and an extraordinary 90-second performance using the changeable garment »Articulando«, Aline Martinez, Master student in Media Art & Design received several prizes: audience prize for the poster as well as both the audience and jury prizes for the elevator pitch.
Stefanie Wetzel, doctoral candidate (Usability | Instructional Design), was extremely convincing in the overall presentation. Her App »Rotate it!« analyses individual solution strategies in 3D-puzzles from students and helps to individually train spatial abilities. The Jury awarded Wetzel the overall prize for »Scientific Communication«.
The posters from the contest will be displayed from 1 December to beginning 2016 on the ground floor of the main university building.
Thanks to all our ten fearless participants of this year's Poster Contest and Elevator Pitch. Many thanks also to our enthusiastic interdisciplinary Jury and congratulations to the winners Aline Martinez, Leonardo Hermel und Stefanie Wetzel!
