Project description
Instead of taking photos ourselves, we deal with existing visual material. Book, photo album, magazine, shoebox with photos, slides, negatives, advertising brochures, laminate floors and posters. The accumulated or collected or selected is brought into a series or better a form similar to a Dj set.
The photographs thematize travel, music, cultural contexts. Museum or botanical encyclopedias can be the starting point as well as photographs from documentary situations. Reportage, pop, moon, stars, bio, physics language, religion and psychology. Many topics to think about. But also about art: painting, sculpture, crafts, science or a photo trap.
