Project description

As part of the module, Media Culture and Media Art and Design students participated in the curation, communication, and press and public relations of the international Artist-in-Residence Program of the Schiesslhaus AiR in Kollnburg. The focus was on the organization and realization of the kick-off event and lecture series JOUR FIXE, which will be broadcast live at the campus of the Bauhaus-University Weimar for the summaery2022. One part of the students will be on site in Kollnburg, the other part will be on site in Weimar.

With moderated project presentations by resident artists KLÁRA ČERMÁKOVÁ (CZE), MAXIMILIAN HAARICH (DEU), SOPHIE INNMANN (DEU) and VOJTĚCH NOVÁK (CZE), and a lecture by scholars ANNA DZUBIA (Hanken School of Economics, Helsinki) and NIL GULARI (Audencia Business School, Nantes), followed by a roundtable discussion on the topic "Hurry up! It's time. A theoretical conversation about time and space".

The Schiesslhaus AiR

The Schiesslhaus AiR is a newly founded international artists' residence with a publicly funded Artist-in-Residence Program in the Bavarian Forest. Under the artistic direction of Anna-Helena Klumpen and Katrin Savvulidi, three two-month "residencies" with a broad public program will take place in 2022 in the historic monument "Schießl-Haus" in Kollnburg.
