Project description
During the past winter semester, eleven architecture students worked on upgrading, reutilising, and rehabilitating the historical Ackerbürgerscheunen in the southern part of Coudraystraße.
In collaboration with the Department »Denkmalpflege und Baugeschichte« and »Entwerfen und Städtebau«, seven different concepts were developed that are shown in this exhibition.
The results of all the students' design have one thing in common: the intensive, collaborative, and progressive usage of the Ackerbürgerscheunen as part of a visionary "Science Mile" at the Bauhaus-University Weimar.
