Due to the uncertain, global situation in respect of the Coronavirus the university board of governance decided to shift the Tag der Lehre to 2021. It is our responsibility to take the situation seriously and to allow ourselves room for the reorganisation of the starting summer semester. Many people at our university are busy by doing so, by rethinking lecture concepts, by enabling staff, teachers and students to actually study and teach during the summer semester 2020. We thank everybody for your engagement and commitment! And we want to encourage you to stay open towards this situation, to be innovative and to make new experiences. These circumstances bear a bunch of topics that we should reflect on in the future. We look forward to a common discourse.
For all of you who have already made an effort to shape and to sharpen the programme of the Tag der Lehre 2020, we kindly ask you to stay with us and to bring in your ideas and topics again in 2021. As soon as we can be certain about a new date we will let you know. Thank you for your understanding and support. We wish you a valuable semester. Please keep well and fit!

Tag der Lehre is a platform for discourse, insights and experiments relating to studies and teaching at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. All students, doctoral candidates, teachers and members of staff at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar are cordially invited to play an active role and help design the programme. This year it will focus on evaluating and reflecting on the further development of the Bauhaus.Semester, as well as on ideas and concepts for new teaching and study Formats.
The impulses open up pointed perspectives on examples of innovative teaching and learning projects at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, which enable study on a skilful connection between teaching, research and arts.
The workshop gives you 90 minutes to develop ideas with other interested participants in small groups to find suitable partners.
The 60-minute idea workshops in small groups offer an opportunity to develop ideas further with other interested parties, and find suitable partners for establishing collaborations. All idea workshops will take place in the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar Main Building.
