Project description

The project is part of the Media Architecture Biennale 2020 #FuturesImplied and Selected installations shall be realized in Amsterdam. As part of the project, it was proposed to develop an interactive installation for visitors to the exhibition.

The Media Architecture Biennale is a biennial event, featuring workshops, a conference, and an exhibition that
attracts interaction designers, lighting designers, architects, artists, researchers, and industry practitioners who
showcase their work, analyze new developments, engage in networks, and discuss emerging trends in this new
profession.

As my project, I chose the problem of dangerous traffic around the world, which, despite the development of technology, remains one of the main causes of death in the world.

The installation is a visual projection simulating the concept of an adaptive road system proposed by me, the idea of which is to use remote speed control and gps navigation systems to limit the speed of vehicles that are in dangerous proximity to pedestrians. The idea of the installation is to put visitors of the exhibition in a simulation of the future, when such a system is already working. And also provoke a discussion on this topic.
