Project description
The project responds to the expectations of visitors to get information about “Staatliches Bauhaus” in the anniversary year 2019. Mobile media installations will present information related to authentic Bauhaus-places and domains of the former Bauhaus protagonists in Weimar to make the history present. The places form a network of trails and can be experienced during a Bauhaus walk. The mobile interactive installations at this place will enable the communication of information through the media sound, light, projection, images, text or video to design hybrid realities and spatial situations in urban context.
The project “Bauhaus oases _ trans-local network” deals with the idea of the historical Bauhaus and asked for current questions of present and future. The slogan “art and technology a new unity” finds an extension through application of new technologies. A new layer of historical perception will be developed with interactive mappings.
