Jakob Tress uses his bachelor thesis to highlight what dusk is all about;
A between things, a transition of conditions, a process of becoming and decay.
Driven by melancholic sensuality, Tress' photographs make us understand, what it means to go through the twilight to recognize yourself in it.
He directs our gaze behind the blue curtain of atmospheric scenery and unveils its deeper lying mosaics.
Moments of self-reflection, somewhere between dream and reality.
Special attention is given to the reflexive relationship of subject and space, the connecting between them and their common reality.
