The maker culture is a contemporary culture or subculture representing a technology-based extension of DIY culture that intersects with hacker culture and revels in the creation of new devices as well as tinkering with existing ones.
In the pracitcal seminar „Maker Movement & Micro Industrialisation" we explored the maker movement from a practical perspective: the participants created solutions for their daily problems in order to solve them with creative ideas. The prototypes were build with the for the Maker Movement typical "trial and error" approach.
