Winterwerkschau

From Friday, 3 February 2023 to Sunday, 5 February 2023, the student-organised Winterwerkschau invites you to discover recent works by students of the Faculty of Art and Design.

On 2 February, parallel to the Winterwerkschau, prospective students and their parents will have the opportunity from 7 to 9 pm to find out more about the offers, organisation and social conditions of a course of study.

At the end of the winter semester, students of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism will present the results of their projects, designs and seminars from 9 to 12 February.

Regional Competition for »Jugend forscht«

For the first time, one of the Thuringian regional competitions for »Jugend forscht« will take place on 22 February in the Mensa am Park. The hosts are Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and Materialforschungs- und -prüfanstalt (MFPA).

In.Sight Master

From 8 to 12 May, the University is offering potential Master's students the opportunity to try out their desired degree programme digitally or on site. Take advantage of the opportunity and register.

Career Day 2023

On 10 May, the Career Service of the University invites you to its Career Day from 2 to 5 pm. Students and interested parties are cordially invited to get to know potential internships and employers in the Mensa am Park.

Family Day 2023

For the first Family Day for employees and students of the University on 31 May, the Equal Opportunities Office offers an exciting programme for children and parents.

Open Campus Day 2023

On 3 June, we invite prospective students to the University. You can expect lectures, information stands on degree programmes and general conditions, tours and talks with student advisors and students.

Long Night of Academic Writing

On 22 June, the Long Night of Academic Writing once again invites students, doctoral candidates, staff and all others interested in writing to exchange ideas with experts on sustainability in everyday writing and to get impulses for their own writing projects.

Day of Teaching and Learning

This year, the Day of Teaching and Learning will take place in context of the annual exhibition »summaery2023«. The event invites all students and doctoral candidates, teachers and staff to develop and discuss ideas together about what teaching and learning means for our university today and in the future.

From 13 to 16 July, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, under the auspices of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism, invites you to its big annual exhibition. Students and teachers will present the projects and positions of the current academic year.

Scholarship celebration

Bauhaus-Universität Weimar promotes special personalities and projects with a variety of formats. As part of summaery2023, all current scholarship holders are invited to a personal exchange on Saturday, 15 July.

Matriculation Ceremony 2023

All newly enrolled students are warmly invited by the Board of Governance and the university to the this years Matriculation Ceremony on 12 October 2023, 5 pm in the main auditorium (Audimax) of the University Library.

ONLINE: connect - international career fair

From 28 to 30 November, the Career Service and the International Office invite you to the international Career Fair. The virtual fair offers students, alumni and companies a platform to get to know each other and network.

The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar's Christmas market »Kauf Dir ein Stück Bauhaus« will take place on Saturday, 9 December from 10 am to 6 pm in the Mensa am Park.
