Project description
With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT) comes the possibility to introduce new features into everyone’s home. Although this may sound exciting and comfortable at first, we must ask ourselves: How well do certain IoT devices preserve security and privacy? We examined multiple smart doorbells and found various weaknesses. While some of those weaknesses are exclusive to particular doorbells, we also found major flaws which spread across other doorbells and even across other devices.
