Project description
There is much to discover in the schlieren lab of the Department of Building Physics: an unique schlieren mirror (which only exists in similar size three more times in the whole world), a thermal manikin, and various measuring devices help to give an insight into the different research areas at the Department of Building Physics. In particular, the research is mostly about indoor climate and the folloqing questions: Why is a good indoor climate so important? How can indoor climate and airflow be visualized and made visible for the human eye? What does the schlieren mirror have to do with it? And how does the thermal manikin help us?
