Project description
For the Project and Disaster Management lecture, 3rd-semester students from the master degree programme Natural Hazards and Risks in Structural Engineering (NHRE) researched the disaster management system and the most common disasters in the different countries in groups of 5.
The aim of this research was to information fellow students about different disaster control and management strategies, thus covering the fundamentals of project management.
Sixteen countries including Nepal, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Saudi Arabia, India, Turkey, Austria, Indonesia, Columbia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Italy, Vietnam, Egypt, China, Honduras were researched and discussed. For the Summaery 2020 excerpts of the presentations on Nepal as well as Bangladesh are displayed.
