Project description

Tischtennis ist eine besonders vielseitige, gesellige und anspruchsvolle Sportart die sich weltweiter Beliebtheit erfreut. In Zeiten unkalkulierbarer Einschränkungen eröffnet diese belebende Betätigung eine besondere Bühne, ein Spielfeld für räumlich-soziale Interaktion, Austausch und die Rückkehr zu einem inklusiven und gemeinschaftlichen Miteinander. Im Corona-Hygienekonzept des Deutschen Tischtennis Bundes heißt es treffend: “Mit den notwendigen Anpassungen [...] ist Tischtennis deshalb unter den aktuellen Bedingungen des Infektionsschutzes eine besonders geeignete und sichere Sportart.” (https://www.tischtennis.de/corona.html)

Das Seminar wurde somit zum spielerischen Zugang in noch unbekannte Normalitäten. Diesen näherten wir uns über das Phänomen Tischtennis aus verschiedenen Perspektiven, theoretisch, philosophisch, kulturell, sportlich und praktisch an. Ziel war es, durch Impulse im Stadtraum, kleine Turniere, Kooperationen und Interventionen, Strukturen zu etablieren, die sich in verantwortungsvoller wie nachhaltiger Weise auf das gesellschaftliche Miteinander im Stadtraum auswirken.

Der Ablauf war gegliedert in einen theoretischen, einen informellen, sowie einen interventionistischen und damit anwendungsorientierten Teil.
