Project description

In this project, we wanted to investigate the creative potential of chaos. Starting with natural sciences and the mathematical chaos theory, heading to the fine arts - Francis Bacon, Jackson Pollock, Otto Dix - and to applied design, chaos has often been a stimulus for vanguard spirits. We intended to depict chaos, to create chaos (e. g. in book design) and we analysed social and political issues in order to either demand or curtail chaos.
