Project description
DON'T PANIC PULP
„Don't Panic“ is he universal advise for those, who travel as hitchhikers through the galaxy. This is going to be our inspiration to develop devices, that are needed right now, that take this situation seriously, but do not lack a humorous attitude.
Foundation for this task is paper pulp moulding, which means to dissolve paper fibres in water without any adhesives and cast this paper pulp into a permeable mould. After drying the 3D-fibre-composite-shell (as the egg carton is one) can be demolded.
This technique is the basis on which we design and experiment to develop face masks and daily helping tools to grab and poke door handles, apples in the supermarket, atm-machine buttons etc. pp.
