Project description
Decolonize Weimar! is a map with texts that takes a critical look at colonial history - right here in Weimar. On the basis of 15 stations and short texts, it is intended to show how closely Weimar was linked to German colonialism around 1900. In this way, the project aims to counteract the colonial amnesia that has shaped the German culture of remembrance.
