The International Office provides emergency financial aid to foreign students who are in desperate financial need through no fault of their own. This means that one of the following criteria need to be fulfilled:
- state of emergency through no fault of one's own (e.g. fire, robbery, natural disaster)
- temporary financial difficulties of the home country paying for a scholarship
- prolonged duration of study due to sickness or other circumstances through no fault of one's own
