Supporting intercultural, interdisciplinary and international teachings
The International Office coordinates so-called “expert forums” with the aid of Federal Ministry of Education and Research in the framework of program "Qualitätspakt Lehre" and DAAD’s program guidelines “Innovations in teaching: strengthen the international dimension in teachings”. The goal is to support contributors to the internationalization process at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and to systematically shape the process of internationalization. This will be achieved by:
- Joint professionally lead development procedures and support of innovative educational ideas.
- The circulation and proclamation of already existing “good practices.”
- Integration, advanced training, and networking support for everyone who contributes to international teaching.
- Structurally strengthening the idea and the interest for internationalisation
The experts' forums take place in the form of lectures, workshops and discussions. The goal is to generate ideas and solutions catered to the curriculum at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, which can be easily translated across facultues and administrative areas.
Experts are external speakers, as well as participating members of the university with numerous and versatile experiences.
We expect the experts' forums to be a platform for exchange and to generate goal-oriented discussions between specialists involved in internationalization process.
