Teaching Mobility (STA)

This programme funds university lecturers who wish to teach at a European partner university. The ERASMUS guest lecturers strengthen the European dimension of the partner university, supplement the courses offered there and provide expertise to students who could or would not otherwise study abroad. To this end, both universities should work toward developing joint degree programmes and encourage the exchange of course content and teaching methods.

Who is eligible for funding?

  • lecturers from German higher education institutions
  • •staff from European-based companies

What is eligible for funding?

Guest lectures with a minimum of 5 lessons up to a maximum of 6 weeks (1 week=5 work days). A minimum stay of 5 days is recommended.


What expenses are covered?

  • travel expenses
  • •subsistence costs up to the EU maximum rate staggered depending on the country of destination

How do I apply?

  2. Before your departure: Please submit your travel application form, the confirmation form and the teaching assignment to the International Office.
  3. Ask the partner institution to issue you the confirmation and submit it to the International Office...
  4. when you return. Also make sure to include your lecture report. The mobility allowance can only be granted after all documents are submitted.
