Where can you find information? Travel warnings
The German Federal Foreign Office provides daily updates on travel warnings.
If you are a German citizen, please register on the German Foreign Office's list of crisis precautions (ELEFAND): krisenvorsorgeliste.diplo.de/signin. This will enable the German consulate abroad to provide you with security advice.
The EU Commission has compiled all the important information on country-specific requirements regarding entry and quarantine regulations on its website "Re-open EU".
What else should you consider?
Your health and safety during your studies abroad have top priority. Please also ensure that you have sufficient insurance cover for stays in areas with a travel warning and in the event of a pandemic. This is particularly important in view of the fact that not all foreign health insurance policies cover this.
What happens if you decide against mobility due to safety concerns?
If you have concerns about your safety on site or if you are denied entry to the host country without this being foreseeable in advance, please contact us and we will try to find a solution together.
