INTERNAL REQUESTS (from staff members of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar)
The International Office actively supports the teaching staff of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in the initiation and planning of international cooperation projects.
If you are an academic employee of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar who is interested in initiating a cooperation with a partner institution, please fill out our questionnaire and submit it to the International Counsellor for your faculty for review. Once the proposal has been approved by the faculty, the signed questionnaire will be delivered to the International Office, and a member of the team will be in contact with you and the prospective partner to proceed with contract negotiations.
The Bauhaus-Universität Weimar maintains partnerships with more than 250 higher-education institutions worldwide. Please note that, in general, it is one or more of the four faculties (Architecture and Urbanism, Civil Engineering, Media, Art and Design) of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar that is party to the agreements, and not the university as a whole. This approach helps to ensure the compatibility of the academic programs between the partners.
The most common type of partnership undertaken by the faculties of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is a “Cooperation for Academic Cooperation and Exchange”, which provides a basis for the exchange of students (bachelor, master, PhD) and staff, as well as joint projects.
