Exhibition opening "Synesthesia Scenery"
The exhibition, conceived by Taishi Watanabe, architect and professor at Waseda University in Tokyo, draws on a study visit at Aalto University from 2019 to 2020 and was already shown in different formats in Helsinki, Berlin and Tokyo.
The exhibition at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar presents 18 objects related to contemporary architecture in various contexts in Japan and juxtaposes them with early modernism and the founding years of the Bauhaus in Weimar. A catalogue accompanies the Synesthesia Scenery exhibition.
The opening will take place on October 12, 2022 at 7 pm with Taishi Watanabe in attendance.
During the Triennale der Moderne there will be an accompanying book table in the Bauhaus Atelier. The books, magazines and films collected and selected by Momoko Yasaka, Maximilian von Zepelin and Verena von Beckerath can be borrowed from the University Library and ordered from M BOOKS.
