For his Bachelor thesis, our student Sebastian Heckner produced a low-cost two-channel measuring device ("Psy-Mex 2") to determine changes in skin conductance / heart rate variability and compared its accuracy to a certified standard device (NeXus-4, Mindmedia). The comparative study involves a controlled design and adresses the influence of different levels of cognitive load on physiological activity.
