Model quality of interaction phenomena between RC frame and masonry infills under horizontal cyclic loading.
In the field of earthquake engineering, specifically dealing with the quality assessment of RC frame infilled with masonry walls, macro models. The assessment of the response of masonry infilled RC frame structures utilizing macro modeling approach, has been a major challenge over the last decades. While several modeling approaches have been proposed, there is no final decision about the quality of each model and which phenomena can the model simulate, in other words, which damage state can we simulate by using each model.
