Research Field 

I am dealing with the prediction models in the field of wind engineering. Here, various phenomena of the wind induced excitation of structures are examined with analytical, numerical and experimental models which are commonly available. On the other hand the wide range of phenomena and types of models leads to a broader area of work. The quality assessment of models, uncertainty and sensitivity of physical parameters as well as by numerical or other model parameters have to be looked at. The robustness of models expressed in wind engineering is also important, not only in the context of prediction quality, but especially in forecasting ability to represent the phenomenon, since many models are only for the prediction of certain phenomena for a given situation. Issues of complexity of models are to be studied, e.g. in case of dimensionally reduced models. Model couplings will also play an important role because that is the interaction between fluid and structure.
