Graduation ceremony 2020
As every year, numerous students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering have successfully passed their final exams - we congratulate all graduates of 2020! Unfortunately, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the graduation ceremony cannot take place in the usual framework.
Whether Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree, your successful completion of your studies marks the beginning of a new phase in your life. A reason for joy that should be duly appreciated! You can look back with pride on what you have achieved - not least because you completed your studies under the difficult conditions of the Corona crisis. You did not let yourself be put off by this and yet you concentrated on your degree. You deserve additional recognition for this!
We would have gladly shared this success with you at our traditional graduation ceremony and taken this atmospheric opportunity to say goodbye in person. However, due to the pandemic and the associated hygiene regulations, the faculty directorate has decided to cancel the graduation ceremony for this year. We regret this very much!
At this point in time, it is unfortunately not possible to foresee in which context the ceremonies for all graduates of the 2019/20 year of study can be made up for. If the graduation ceremony can take place next year, we will inform you immediately.
Until then, we wish you all the best in your future life and hope that you will continue to stay connected to our university through the various networks.
With best regards,
Your Faculty directorate of Civil Engineering
Prof. Uwe Plank-Wiedenbeck
Prof. Horst-Michael Ludwig
Prof. Conrad Völker
