The mission for the upcoming winter semester at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar is as much in-person teaching as possible; we want each of our new students to be able to study on campus and to get to know their instructors and fellow students in person. Extensive preparations are now underway for a semester designed to deal with a pandemic.

By extending the enrolment deadline, we are giving any students who were previously undecided the chance to start studying in the winter semester. Information on study programmes and enrolment can be found at the Academic Programmes website.

Starting on 19. October, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will be welcoming first-semester students for our traditional introductory week before classes begin in early November. Further details on the design of the 2020/2021 winter semester can be found at www.uni-weimar.de/wintersemester2020.
