Coronavirus Prevention: Examination office and PC pools of the Faculty of Civil Engineering closed to the public with immediate effect
To prevent a possible spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and access to all PC pools and main entrances will be closed to visitors from 16 March 2020. Advice for students will only be given by telephone and e-mail.
As already announced over the weekend, the start of courses at all Thuringian universities will be postponed until at least May 4, 2020. The attendance phase at Bauhaus-Universität-Weimar may begin even later if necessary. Students are expressly requested not to arrive until the beginning of the courses. Alternative offers for the summer semester are currently being examined.
Visitor traffic in the University Library has been discontinued with immediate effect; in the Departments of Studies and Teaching, as well as International Relations and the Language Centre, advice for students will only be given by telephone and e-mail. This also applies to the examination office of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. All contact details can be found on the website of the Examination Office. The computer pools of the Faculty and the central pools are also closed.
Furthermore, the Faculty management has decided to cancel the planned excursion week of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in May.
